Rotax MAX Engine Concept
Rotax Engines have a long history of quality and ease of use. The FR125 karting engine is no different. To the right is the evolution of the Rotax concept, from the fastest engine package (the DD2, 2-speed) to the most entry level package, the MicroMax, designed for ages 8-10 years old.
The evolution of engines utilizes the basis of the FR125 in various trim packages so that it is conceivable to start in MicroMax and keep your same engine throughout your karting career. How is that for cost-effective? In addition, the sealed-engine concept and engine passport system keeps a level playing field while providing you a service log of each engine you own or compete against. A complete engine service history means you have an engine that will retain its value over the years.
